This is imitation temple jewelry Tika. This fine jewelry is made of copper or base metal and plated with Gold. This is a hand made jewelry. This is usually used instead of the full head set for small children ar dancers who don't like to cover their forehead with the full headset.

This piece of jewelry can be used for Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance performances. This is the imitation form of the traditional temple jewelry used for Indian classical dances from the beginning.

Heavy, looks good, but flimsy hook

Posted by Radhika, Park City, Utah on 20th May 2018

The product was heavier than expected, but it looks very pretty, as advertised in the image. I would not recommend for kids, more for an adult. For the weight of the item, the hook should have been more solidly put together, the ring holding the hook broke when I tried it on my daughter.
Customer Support: Ms Radhika, many thanks for your review. Please email us a picture with order number and we will replace it free. Sorry for the trouble.

    beautiful tikka

Beautiful tikka. It's a bit wide for a smaller head size though. It's more size appropriate for the pre-teen and adult head sizes.
